Author Guidelines

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements for submission to the CSRID Journal are as follows:

  • Articles may be written in either Indonesian or English.

  • Manuscripts should be between 10 to 13 pages in length. (If the manuscript exceeds 13 pages, it will be subject to editorial review.)

  • Use Mendeley for reference management and ensure formatting follows the APA Citation Style.

  • Articles must be formatted using the CSRID Journal template.

  • All images included must be of high quality.


B. Article Structure

Articles should follow this general structure:

  • Title – Capitalize the first letter of each word.

  • Abstract – Maximum of 250 words; no citations; must clearly state the main objectives, research urgency, study design, methodology, findings, and conclusion.

  • Section Structure – Authors are encouraged to use the following structure:
    Introduction – Proposed Method/Algorithm (optional) – Methodology – Results and Discussion – Conclusion.

  • References – A minimum of 15 references is required, with at least 80% sourced from reputable journal articles published within the last 10 years.


Submission Requirements

Authors submitting manuscripts must adhere to the following:

  • The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it under review elsewhere. (Or an explanation must be provided in the comments to the Editor.)

  • The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word format and follow the journal's official template. (The template can be downloaded [here].)

  • URLs for references should be included where available.

  • The text must be:

    • Single-spaced

    • Font size: 11 points

    • No underlining, except for URLs

    • All images, illustrations, and tables must be embedded within the text at appropriate locations, not placed at the end as appendices.

  • The manuscript must follow the language and formatting guidelines outlined in the Author Guidelines available on the About Us page.

  • If submitting to the peer-reviewed section, the Anonymous Review policy must be strictly followed.

  • Publication Process
    1. Author
    Author prepares the manuscript according to the journal template and guidelines.
    The manuscript must comply with the journal's scope and publication ethics.
    2. Submit Article
    Author submits the manuscript through the Online Journal System (OJS).
    Metadata such as title, abstract, keywords, and author information are completed.
    3. Editorial Screening
    The editorial team performs an initial evaluation.
    Scope suitability, manuscript completeness, formatting, and plagiarism are checked.
    Manuscripts that do not meet requirements may be returned to the author.
    4. Peer Review
    The manuscript is assigned to expert reviewers.
    Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, analysis, discussion, and conclusions.
    Review recommendations are submitted to the editor.
    5. Revision
    Authors revise the manuscript based on reviewer comments.
    The revised version is resubmitted through the system.
    Additional review rounds may be conducted if necessary.
    6. Editorial Decision
    The editor evaluates reviewer recommendations and revision results.
    The manuscript may be:
    Accepted
    Accepted with Minor Revisions
    Accepted with Major Revisions
    Rejected
    7. Copyediting
    Language, grammar, spelling, and references are reviewed.
    Formatting consistency is checked to ensure publication quality.
    8. Layout Editing
    The accepted manuscript is formatted according to the journal layout.
    Final publication files (PDF) are prepared.
    9. Publication
    The article is published in the assigned journal issue.
    Volume, issue number, page numbers, and DOI  are assigned.
    The article becomes publicly accessible.
    10. Reader
    Readers can access, download, read, and cite published articles.
    Published research contributes to the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
